Grand Success of “Gau Maha Harathi” – A Divine Celebration of Gau Bhakti in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, May 4, 2025 – The sacred and grand “Gau Maha Harathi” event, organized by Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh at Lalitha Kala Thoranam, Public Gardens, Nampally, concluded with immense devotion and enthusiasm. Hundreds of devotees, dignitaries, and celebrities gathered to honor Gau Mata (Mother Cow) in a day filled with spiritual rituals, cultural performances, and heartfelt tributes.

- Gau Walk – A Sacred Beginning
The event commenced with a 1 KM Gau Walk, symbolizing unity and reverence for cows. Over 200 devotees, along with prominent personalities, participated enthusiastically. The walk was led by:

After the homam, the main program featured inspiring performances and speeches:
Devotional Singing by Keerthana – Melodious bhajans dedicated to Gau Mata.
Gau Drama by Dr. Balakrishna – A thought-provoking act highlighting the importance of cow protection.
Speeches by Dignitaries – Leaders emphasized Gau Seva, Hindu unity, and cultural preservation.
Bhakti Sangeet by Prem Pawar Team – Soul-stirring devotional songs.
Veda Chanting – Priests recited sacred Vedic mantras, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere.

The event culminated with the Gau Maha Harathi, where devotees offered aarti to cows as a symbol of “National Mother” (Rashtra Mata). The sight of devotees praying with lamps and flowers was a deeply moving experience, reinforcing the sacred bond between Hindus and cows.
