Sree Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Foundation submitted another formal request and held an important discussion with N. Ramchander Rao, Hon’ble Telangana BJP President, regarding the Foundation’s nationwide campaign to declare Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti as a National Holiday, recognizing him as a National Hero.
During the meeting, the Foundation highlighted the historical contributions, nation-building vision, and enduring legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, emphasizing the need for national-level recognition.
The BJP State President acknowledged and appreciated the campaign efforts of the Foundation. He recognized the dedicated work of Foundation President Sri. CS Chavan garu, along with the committee members, and expressed his appreciation for their commitment to honoring the legacy of Shivaji Maharaj.
He further assured that he would take up the matter and extend support by pursuing the campaign-related issues at appropriate levels.
The Foundation expressed sincere gratitude for the positive response and reaffirmed its resolve to continue the campaign until Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti is rightfully declared a National Holiday.
