The “Save Cow, Save Earth” initiative emphasizes the importance of cow protection, soil conservation, and environmental preservation. As part of this mission, a Gau Raksha Maha Padayatra is being organized, spanning 9 states, 87 districts, and covering a distance of 2600 kilometers, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. The event will take place on Sunday, December 22, starting at 8:00 AM from the Birla Bagh Ammavaru Temple and concluding at the Bhagyalakshmi Ammavaru Temple. Led by Balakrishna Guruswamiji, the journey highlights the significance of protecting cows and preserving the environment. A concluding ceremony will be held at 10:30 AM, featuring a Gau Seva Pooja. This event is supported by the Sree Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Foundation, which is dedicated to cow protection, land conservation, and environmental sustainability.
